Re: Web page not working on my computer
First Check if the problem is with a Website Try the following to make sure the problem isn't related to the Web site. Click Reload or Refresh, as the Web site may be temporarily unavailable. Verify that the Internet address (URL) has been typed correctly. Go to a known, working Web site, such as a url type. If you see: the Web site, then your Internet connection is working properly. An error message such as Page Not Found or has the number 404 in the message, then it might be possible that site is offline.

Re: Web page not working on my computer
When connecting to a Website, you may see the Page Not Found message because the page moved, the page name changed, or the page is temporarily unavailable. Verify that the Internet address (URL) is correct (no typing or spelling errors), and press Reload or Refresh, on your browser. Sometimes this is a one-time problem. Go to the Web site main page, and try to search from there. For most Internet addresses, you would just use the first part of the address.

Attempt to go to another Website. If you are unable to go to another Web site, there may be a trouble with your Internet connection. DNS errors A Domain Name System (DNS) error can happen if the DNS server(s) are not properly recognizing the URL. This could be because the DNS server is down or the URL is incorrectly configured in DNS. Go to a known, working Web site. If you are unable to access another Web site, there may be a problem with your Internet connection. See the next section to check your connection.

Re: Web page not working on my computer
Here are some solutions for the most common dial-up connection (telephone line) problems with your modem. Important notice about your modem
HP recommends upgrading the modem driver software after experiencing connection problems. Refer to the software and documentation that came with your modem. For certain 56k Flex modem types, you may need to check with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to see if it is still supported. This can be also be a problem of web page not working on my computer.

Re: Web page not working on my computer
Use this checklist before using the troubleshooting tools in this document: Ensure that your telephone cord is working and is 6 feet (1.83 m) long or less. Note If the telephone wall connection is more than 6 feet (1.83 m) away, move the computer closer to the telephone connector (wall jack). Check the telephone cord connection into the wall and into your modem. Check your telephone signal. Turn off call waiting.
