Sacred 2: Fallen Angel

Since the last big announcement by Blizzard, fans of hack & slash speak more than Diablo III. It is true that the series is at the root of its kind, not talking about no "diablo-like" and that the protected by Blizzard which is already very impressive, but it seems no question of an exit before several months so why not focus on games coming out today? Author of very nice of Sacred that four years ago Ascaron actually returned to the front of the stage with a series simply entitled Sacred 2: an opportunity to forget Blizzard few hours?

While retaining the action and nervousness style Diablo, Sacred first name had a competitive edge by increasing significantly the richness of the universe. The world Ancaria is much larger than other securities offering of its kind, the quests are more numerous and all have a touch of "adventure" far from unpleasant. Among Germans Ascaron, no visible change a winning team. Thus, the world Ancaria is still in the program for this second opus, but the developers went even further by enriching their world yet. According to official data, we can indeed count on an area of about 70 square kilometers with over 500 quests to be done and a good sixty dungeons to explore. All of which promise of course a lifetime enormous, but starting from the beginning ...

The creation of character is a little disappointing

Like any good hack & slash self-respecting, part of Sacred 2 began with the creation of his character. Alas, we must admit that this side is, Ascaron is a little pale figure with a rather limited customization of our avatar. We have a choice between two facets of the campaign (shadow and light) and, especially, six classes of characters that are quite different from those proposed in Sacred first name (excluding Seraphino of). These choices must of course to address the game so significantly different specializing instead on the fight melee, weapons of distance or magic ... This selection, we opted for a tutelary deity and adventure can begin! Contrary to what one might believe, moreover, it is not here to pick up where we left Sacred first name. The history of Sacred 2 began actually some 2000 years before the first version.

In the world of Ancaria, Energy T occupies a special place. The powerful substance, including the origin of the magic world, is under the control of high elves for centuries, but a real civil war erupted in the noble people. Other races have the opportunity to attempt to take power on Ancaria and what had to happen happened: Energy T out of control and brings chaos to the world. It is in this context at least tormented the players to intervene, perhaps, prevent the Apocalypse to occur. This is more or less county throughout the game, but not be clear now: the scenario of the game is not what we remember most. The increase is quietly, but not really exciting and it is better to see this story as a way of staking our adventure, a simple thread.

Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse

Logitech VX Nano Mouse
The mouse for laptops is fashionable but generally requires to compromise. But this is not the case for the VX Nano that of all the superlatives. Knob revolutionary microscopic receiver, finishing exceptional ergonomics and of good quality combine to make an object that can not help but be desired.

1. The depth of miniaturization
You are more likely to prefer the laptop to the office even as a main engine. This is understandable because it can be transported everywhere and it occupies less space while also ultimately successful. However ergonomics side, the touchpad is still a second-best. Even if we manage to live with for office and the MP3 playback, it quickly becomes tedious when it comes to surf a little longer or so edit a photo or play. In general, everyone loves a day or the other and obtains a mouse. So we may opt for a standard size but it is of doing harm or a portable model but that requires compromise on ergonomics and functionality. Logitech corrects this with a mouse that combines a small size to ergonomics and the latest innovations.

The Revolutionary adjuster
The wheel is called "Revolution" to its name but its integration into the mouse for laptops VX had not been a frank success. Logitech repeated attempts with the VX Nano for the coup and the test is processed. Remember the principle. The metal wheel, which is a masterpiece of micromechanics in itself, can be used in fashion notches as a traditional model or coasting in this case, the great inertia can quickly scroll through a document a long time as a Web page for example. If switching between the two states is electrically on the desktop mouse, it is mechanical on the mobile version for obvious reasons of miniaturization and consumption. On the VX Nano, just press firmly for a change. And the result is exceptional. With its inertia and its grip, the grip is very easy to use whether in a way or another. Serrated mode, the accuracy is formidable and coasting speed scrolling that can be achieved is phenomenal. To stop, yet just a touch of a finger. Once one has tasted this wheel, it's hard to go back for more traditional. It is also multidirectional but anecdotal because nobody uses this function.

ViStart - Vista Start Menu for XP

Are you tired of the Start menu in Windows XP? Want to give it a new look and adding more features?

ViStart is a small application that turns boring and conventional start menu on your XP on a Windows Vista-style.

It seems that every time a new version of Windows appears there are lots of utilities produced that give the old versions the new look. ViStart is a good example that makes the Windows XP Start Menu look just like that of Vista.

A few weeks ago, I tried a Vista styled start menu replacement for XP called Vista Start Menu. It worked nicely and even included the Vista style program search. This one seems to give you an even better simulation and the search feature is even faster than what Vista can give you. The only issue I had with this utility is a slow start-up time.

The good news is that it is not a purely cosmetic utility. The search feature of the Vista Start Menu for finding software installed on the computer.

The cosmetics are also very good and the ViStart menu also has the transparent effects of the Vista menu.

If you want to give Windows XP a fresh new look, this a good way to do so.

Saints Row 2 Game

Released in 2006 on Xbox 360, Saints Row was simply the first GTA-Like on next generation consoles. Rather nice, although technically tied to the pitch, the game Volition met a wide popular with fans of the genre. Since then, water has flowed under the bridge: a monster named GTA IV is released. Not scared, THQ finally launches Saints Row 2 on Xbox 360 and PS3. Mass communication, controversy, Saints Row 2 can really compete with GTA IV?

Saints Row 2 avoids the frontal impact with GTA IV

Welcome to Stillwater! Finally, should we say back in Stillwater. Volition developers have actually retained the same city, but after a few years. Now in the hands of a company called Ultor, Stillwater was substantially enlarged. The playground is now 40% greater than in the first opus, and comparable to Liberty City of GTA IV in terms of area. Thrown into prison to "end" of the first Saints Row, the player is finally a few years later, in jail again and again. The goal is first of all to escape back then the gang of Saints Row, completely decimated during your years behind bars. In essence, the principle remains the same, namely to take control of all areas to establish its supremacy over the city. This war of gangs revolves around a frame Scenarist background where there alternates between the stories of each of the Sons Of Saturday through devious of Ronin. Once the district acquired, you can also check businesses that are continually money. Also, the fabric Scenarist is more pronounced than in the first Saints Row, punctuated by numerous cinematic achievement whose frieze with the carpet.

Yes, we are obviously far from the film-look perfectly reproduced a GTA IV. Taking this aggressive approach angle, it is clear that Saints Row 2 is light years below GTA IV. Starting with its visual identity clearly absent, despite the diversity of neighborhoods. Simplistic textures, modeling rather bland decor, fog, Saints Row 2 is not a work of art! Rather, it shows quickly large technical shortcomings already observed during the previews. The engine of the game, fashioned, accuses many concerns with problems a clipping and fog that hides the horizon. Is still good effects of light at night and in indoor places that have received special care. Without wishing to caricature the situation, Saints Row 2 is similar to GTA: San Andreas high definition. The comparison with the title of Rockstar does not stop the contrary, it seems obvious to many levels. For Saints Row 2 judged solely on its technical deficiencies, and reduced to a pale copy of GTA IV would be a beautiful mistake.

BitDefender Internet Security 2009

The security solution BitDefender Internet Security 2009 provides, as previous versions, all of the features in the fight against threats on the Internet. Ever more numerous. This version 12 adds the updated engine operation which goes to 7.xxxxx and a base of antivirus signatures enriched (1 813 547 to date)

BDIS 2009 is a powerful pack including a proactive anti-virus, firewall, which now includes two-way protection and IPv6 has a new intrusion detection system, a drastic anti-spam (filtering emails and integration with Outlook, Thunderbird ...) and a parental control module (filtering keywords and phrases emails and Web pages). The good news for the individual licensing concerns remain valid for three computers provided they are located in the same mailing address (1, 2 or 3 years for downloading, 2-year version box).

New modules very catchy ...

Among other innovations, the individual enjoys the confidentiality of information exchanged with IM clients and the presence of a safe in order to secure its sensitive files and folders. Three other modules characterize this 2009 version, the way (relaxation of security rules when you play a video game), the Portable mode (functioning economy leaner and battery on a laptop) and protection of the family network that allows remote, From a position, the maintenance of other PC in the house (analysis, updating, correcting problems...).

A BitDefender that fits your configuration?

No real surprises for the minimum. The software runs on Windows XP SP2 (32/64 bit) or Vista SP1 (32/64 bit) processor with 800 MHz. Between 512 MB and 1 GB of RAM is recommended. Note that this 2009 version goes virtually unnoticed and does not slow down your machine. The slow PC may decide to conduct an analysis "low priority". This action reduces the analysis process while allowing other programs to run faster.

In the same vein, notebooks when running on battery, are detected by BitDefender Internet Security 2009. As a result, the application automatically Laptop mode, ie in power saving mode (no analysis, no scheduled backups ...).

4. Quality of the keys: Plastic keys with a steady, but slightly spongy pressure point, slipping slightly on adjacent keys; operation via touchscreen (pen) also possible. This, however, reacted irregularly (partially sluggish or turn too quickly) We would say that the technology is at the G700 is not yet fully mature and Sony Ericsson has some potential for improvement.

Google G1 Android mobile phone

Made by Taiwan's HTC Corp, the G1 is being released on October 22 by T-Mobile in the US and will cost $179 with a two-year contract. The device, about the size as the iPhone but plumper, will be available in black or bronze. It sports a large touchscreen, and the lower smidgen of the device is angled -- the curvature seemed more stylistic than functional to me -- and sports four buttons and a trackball.

G1 lacks Apple's patented"multi-touch" technology – which allows users to make pinching and expanding gestures with their fingers to zoom in and out of web pages and photos on the iPhone's screen – the G1 retaliates with some tricks of its own, easily enabling users to magnify areas of a website at the touch of a button.

Beneath the touchscreen is a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that makes the G1 feel like a grownup's version of another device T-Mobile sells, the Sidekick. The keyboard will appeal to anyone who, like me, still prefers the feel of physical keys rather than virtual ones on the screen.

There's also an adjacent microSD card slot that comes loaded with a 1GB card. Don't lose this tiny card, because it's the storage spot for photos and songs you want to access on the G1.

If you want to invest in more space, the G1 supports cards up to 16 GB.

the G1 was easy to use. It includes an intuitive interface and many of Google's familiar services, like search, Gmail and Google Talk.

There's also Google Maps, which is enhanced by a built-in compass that lets you see locations in the "Street View" feature by moving the phone as you hold it.

I had no trouble doing things like instant messaging my friends, searching for bubble tea stores near my apartment, and yes, making phone calls. There is a good-looking browser that is pretty simple to navigate, and the device's screen is clear and sharp.

Sony Ericsson W910i Mobile phone

Here's the new phone "Walkman" is ready to depopulate until next year. Yes, because the new W910i really has all the requirements to be a winning product and they immediately noticed the two major mobile operators in Italy, TIM and Vodafone, who have captured customization.

As had happened for the first P1i impact is very shocking. Once again SE has chosen to "rubber" the phone (as well as the K810i) and made him a very smart, solid and beautiful to take in hand. The opening slide is easy, practical and well thought out and enjoy who has fun to open and close the phone all the time because his "shot" is liberating.

Its display is large, very bright and intelligent. The sensor inside the phone, in fact, the software informs the way you're watching, and so the display of photos and music plus some menu changes from horizontal to vertical. This is a great innovation that comes from development of new controller of the Play Station 3. The phone "feels" the movement and perceives the way you are taking in hand. One of the games already integrated into the software, Marble Madness, can slide a ball on a labyrinth and you must simply move to keep the phone on the palm of the hand: the ball will roll according to your movements, although minimal, just as would happen if you are in the hands of a true labyrinth.

Another curious innovation related to this sensor is the Shake Control. While listening to music from your phone you can shake to select another track chosen at random, or you can right inclined to move to the next track or left to return to the previous one. Why do not you run the risk of accidentally change the track only for having moved the phone must also press a button in the contemporary movement, key unfortunately too small and placed in an uncomfortable position.

As for the music, phone software has really progressed worth telling. First, the software management of media files from PC is called "Media Manager" and is a novelty that will cover all mobile phones next SE. This is a more complete software compared to the previous Disc2Phone, which allows the transformation of its music (is available on both on the PC and on CD) in mp3 files and then transfer it to your phone not only with all the information relating to the song (collected by networking to Gracenote), but also his "mood", that is the type of sensation that the song produces. It's called SenseMe, and the new system that allows you to classify your music collection by type W910i in the audience giving you a chance to decide what to listen to your base at the time. Just as in a radio commercial every piece is cataloged in connection with feelings that produce, so you can choose to just listen to soft music, rather than energy, rather than romantic rhythm. 78% of respondents during a search is said to change mood in relation to the type of music heard. The vision of the photos will be accompanied by music that compared to your presentation you want to have a beautiful new that gives luster to the integration of media files.

SonyEricsson K660i mobile phone

The new SonyEricsson K660i answers the question of who calls a mobile elegant, full-featured, multimedia, fast, and able to really exploit the opportunities of the Network.

We start from here, because the novelty lies in the ability to see the web browser taking the display horizontally to make clearer reading of web sites and easy access to options (such as zoom, bookmarks, inclusion of addresses, etc.) using only one finger.

HSDPA allows high speed navigation and personally I have tested with You Tube that works well.Except then clear the face of the prepaid account if you do not have an internet subscription all-inclusive.

Among the applications already integrated into the phone's Google Maps for Mobile that, based on the position of radio connected to the phone, you can display your position indicative and show the way to reach addresses, restaurants, cinema, or whatever other place of interest please.

Among other things the Google Maps uses Navteq maps, those used by Garmin, which are often more accurate TeleAtlas. Thus turning into a useful portable navigator. It is true that in order to use it you have to stay connected to the network and also in this case there would agree to have a subscription "flat" to use the phone for your Internet connection.

A phone useful because it can all be used in any place through the slots available: four formats GSM (850, 900, 1800 and 1900), the format 3G (UMTS 2100) and HSDPA.The look of the phone is well studied and colors are very bright, although the photos can not render justice because the green (associated with white) and purple (associated with black) are translucent and beautiful to see live. The round buttons, similar to those of the K810i are very spaced so that handling errors and nothing even to those who have big fingers.

Sony Ericsson W980i mobile phone

The new smartphone promises to be the most functional bed in a market with high-quality camera, Wi-Fi and GPS, but this is not happen soon. Until that time, it makes sense to pay attention only to Samsung G400 with the outside touch screen and 5 MP camera, but it's utilitarian decision has important dimensions, not the best quality materials, and, as evidenced by the sale does not enjoy special demand.

In light of this proposal are pleased with the company Sony Ericsson, namely, W980i. Not the most technology-camp-cot at a high price, but this phone combines a few features that make it unique, unlike anything before on the market. The music phone, its flagship line of Walkman, with a maximum amount of internal memory (8 GB), touch keys on the front panel, a complete set of hardware and software for comfortable listening to music management. In doing so, the phone looks unusual, the design is very interesting, instantly attracts attention.

Gadgetshieldz Full-Body Scratch Protection Skins

Introduction: First of all why am i writing this review? Well..I am completely bowled over by the whole approach this product has taken to protect our lovely devices..I have traditionally used only a screen protector or scratch-guard for protecting the screen. But when I bought my Ipod touch, the steel finished back looked like its waiting to get scratched. And I was not ready to hide my cutie ipod baby into some leather case or thick rubbery skin.So I googled a bit and found a few products like the invisibleshield and GadgetShieldz. These companies provide seperate transparent skins both for the front and back and is cut out perfectly for the ipod Touch 2G.They do have skins for other electronic devices also.

While the invisibleshield was 25$ (1250 Rs) shipped, Gadgetshieldz was only 6.99$ (350 Rs) shipped. Almost 1/4th of the cost of an invisibleshield. So went for GadgetShieldz.

Online Shopping Experience : Went ahead and placed my order on GadgetShieldz online store thru my credit card (processed thru paypal, so i wasn't really worried abt the CC fraud). The site is pretty much straight forward and was neatly laid out.I was able to find my product right on the front page since its their bestseller.

Packaging : The skins arrived the next day in an envelope !!! Yes..a normal business envelope with their logo on it..Hang on..I was expecting some fancy packing and stuff like that..Woo hoo..Another surprise. So nothing much to talk about the packaging.

Apple creative digital iLife'09

In the park of software solutions offered by Apple a prominent place is occupied by the iLife suite, consisting of five applications that want to try to meet the needs of the wider public in the areas of digital creativity. Drawing a parallel, if iWork is the proposal "serious" software solutions for the general public, certainly embodies the iLife declination more frivolous.

The iLife suite has been proposed by Apple as of 2003 are 6 versions that have gradually succeeded to date, almost every year and almost all presented at the various editions of Macworld in January. Except iLife'08 that, to the detriment of the name, was launched at a special summer event, in August 2007.

AMD Phenom II AM3

This is the interval that will separate the launch of AMD Phenom II socket AM2 + processor AMD Phenom II socket AM3. At the exit of the Phenom X4 II 940 and 920, we were surprised at the existence of these processors socket AM2 + compatible only with the type of DDR2 memory while the Phenom socket AM3 and were ready to support both DDR3 DDR2 and being backward compatible with socket AM2 +. As against the AM2 + Phenom processors 920 and 940 are not compatible with the motherboard socket AM3 since they lack the memory controller supporting DDR3. To be more exact, it is disabled on the 940 and 920. Unless a AM3 motherboard provides DDR2 slots, the Phenom released January 8 are confined to maps AM2 +. This is the justification given by AMD for their existence: to be compatible with AM2 + motherboards that do not bear the AM3 Phenom.

Samsung M7500 Giorgio Armani Mobile Phone

Small and lightweight

M7500 is far from any fighting. With a thickness of 1.2 centimeters and a weight of 90 grams of small pockets should not be any obstacle. The phone is generally the same size as most other phones with the same specifications.

Everyone should know that Armani is in the Room

You will soon discover that the phone is designed to attract notice. On the left side you will find that small LED light that flashes Armani logo to those who had to be nearby when the phone rings.

The lights will flash in red, green or blue, and it's dim lighting in the premises it would be very hard to miss incoming messages or calls.

LED lights are the way, the reason why the phone has been given the name "Night Effect" if you would be in doubt about it.

If you think that flashing lights in bright colors are a bit harry, you can thankfully turn off this feature in the menus.

DFI motherboard LP JR X58 T3H6 M-ATX

The Taiwanese manufacturer DFI has added a map based on the Intel X58 chipset to its range of motherboards micro ATX LanParty called "JR". LanParty JR cards represent one of five denominations card in DFI among UT, LT, DK and Blood Iron. Here the card we tested is the portrait miniature of its big sister the LanParty DK X58 T3eH6. As you can see despite its small size, the X58 DFI LanParty JR T3H6 has nothing to envy card ATX.

The DFI LanParty JR X58 T3H6 puts a black six PCB layers and its different components are very flashy colors: fluorescent green and yellow that are more responsive to UV radiation. A large radiator covers and Northbrige heat pipe is connected by a smaller radiator cooling the mosfets. It may be noted that the radiator chipset has the holes for the fixing of a small fan and the top of the radiator can be removed from the heatpipe to be replaced with a waterblock. The southbridge when it is cooled by a small independent radiator.

The card has 6 ports RAM and supports DDR3 memory up to 1800MHz triple channel. The DFI has six SATA ports at 90 ° handled by the Intel ICH10-R supports RAID 0/1/0 +1 / 5. The card has power buttons ON / OFF and reset and a diagnostic LED display for displaying and more easily resolve the errors of the system.

JR X58 has voltage to 6 phases for the CPU, 2-phase DDR3 memory and phase 2 for the ATV, which seems more than enough given the quality of components used by the manufacturer.

User Interface

OS2008 maintains the same layout and general functionality of OS2007 but is undeniably prettier and better optimized for the finger.
In the task navigator column on the left are new icons corresponding to the same feature set (web browser at the top, contacts in the middle, applications at the bottom) that open finger-friendly cascading menus that can be personalized to suit individual preferences. Applets and the row of status indicators have also carried over from OS2007, though they too sport an updated look and some additional functionality.
Even though many applications can be, and have been, created for its Linux-based OS, basic functions like instant messaging still require someone to find and install third-party applications. It would have been great if Nokia gave it more functionality out of the box.

Nokia internet tablet memory
The Nokia N810 offers 2GB of internal memory. About one third of the internal memory is reserved for navigation software, which leaves you sufficient memory to store your music, videos and pictures. If the internal memory does not suffice, you can enhance it with a miniSD memory card. The Nokia N810 supports memory cards up to 8GB and in the future higher storage capacities will be supported automatically or through an update.

The bottom line:
Though not necessarily worth the price for an upgrade, the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet brings some nice additions to the mobile Web browsing device, including a full QWERTY keyboard and integrated GPS.

The mechanism for the assurance of mobility while the mouse and stability in the way of the keyboard is made in a novice who is not mentioned on this web site for reasons of confidentiality.

The right unit of combimouse is a keyboard and mouse combination that furniture can be moved around on a support surface such as a conventional mouse. The keys are arranged in the way of the right side of a conventional QWERTY keyboard.

When the user grasps the right drive and so it touches the side of the area identified above as' Put in contact with switch ', the correct unit automatically changes the mode of the mouse. Star Ocean: The Last Hope for Xbox 360

The Star Ocean we depict a future not very pleasing, the 21st century has been shaken by a Third World War, which nearly destroyed humanity. The survivors now live underground and mobilize all forces to engage in the conquest of space. They hope to find a new effect Eden, the planet on which the human species could make a fresh start. Edge Maverick and Reimer Saionji are part of the crew of one of the first vessels to and from the unknown.

Unfortunately this trip does not quite happen as planned and they end up on a planet rather forbidding. Edge Reims and then take control of Calnus, the last building in working order, and leave in search of a vessel of the convoy that is missing. Their quest will lead them to visit many planets and a few cross races Extraterrestrial route. Crew and will grow to very colorful characters such as a giant cyber-chat a woman or a girl who practices magic.

This journey through space can be quite comical, you are tossed from a planet to another and follow the events without having taken on them. You'll be prompted to help a people in particular, then returned in the past by a spatio-temporal hole before you crash on a planet. It is not always easy to find a common thread among all these mishaps.

In these conditions, it was more the impression of being a spectator of the events that really be an actor. This is a detail that is still a little disturbing in the context of a role-playing game that is supposed to build on the contrary immersion. This feeling is also enhanced by the presence of very long scenes. If they are always welcome when they serve the script or are particularly impressive, the accumulation of rather subcultural scenes eventually serve all lead the pace of the adventure.

X-Blades (XBox 360)

X-Blades is a great action game. It comprises most of the elements that you would imagine from the best games in the genre: diverse combat with tons of unlockable moves, impressive visuals that optimally frame the frantic fights, and a long quest with plenty of creepy monsters and gigantic boss encounters. For every step forward that X-Blades takes on the road to action nirvana, it takes another step in the opposite direction. The depth of combat is too intense as multiple enemies flood the screen, the striking visuals lose their luster as repetitive environments make things predictable, and the boss battles are wars of attrition rather than tests of skill. However, it's still a fun.

Ayumi is the typical treasure-hunting heroine except for one major visual distinction: she is not wearing any pants. You would be wondering why she is fighting with a horde of angry creatures without durable fabric protecting her from their vicious attacks. You will have to play through the entire game to unlock a pair of form-fitting pants, so leave your modesty at the temple entrance if you want to guide Ayumi through these haunted ruins. The story is largely forgettable, chronicling Ayumi's quest to drive off the dark side that she has unleashed onto the world.

You have three types of attacks at your disposal : melee, guns, and magic. You will obtain plenty of unlockable moves and combos throughout the adventure. You can mow through the early enemies with little more than your titular blades, but most of your foes require a more thoughtful approach to dispose of them. Elemental attacks are your main tool, letting you quench the heat of a fire creature with an icy blast or neutralize a dark baddie with a burst of pure light energy. The multiple types of enemies will fill the screen, you'll have to smartly switch between different attack types to survive, creating dizzying encounters that require raw button-mashing prowess with clever magical use.
