Head shot using knife in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
I have counter strike and One thing that was markedly missing when going from 1.6 to source is that it is not chance to achieve a knife head shot. how to perform headshot uding knife? Can anyone know the trick?

It is likely to get a knife headshot but it's a game engine bug that triggers it, usually when you have lots of mode playing with the hit boxes or analysis info from them. I simply noticed as it's happened with me previous to. Of course it's not likely in CSS to get a knife headshot though. That’s why in counter strike source we can use Knives can only do common damage. No headshots, ever.

I am a knife user. The idea behind the knife is a fastest way to defeat your enemy in short range. There are two types of knife attack (primary\first and secondary attack\second). First attack will knife quicker, but does less injure (about 15% damage). Second attack is about double as slow as compare to the primary, but does 55 damage in every attack, so two attacks is a confirmed kill the enemy. You will instantly kill the enemy If you knife the enemy from the back with this attack, no matter the quantity of shield or hit points or armor. The strategy behind the attack is user tends to throw HE-grenades at the aim and then use the knife for a faster and safer kill. But if you are not a professional with the knife, then don’t do this.

I have the similar opinion and I'd like to know how it’s not possible anymore. In source, I have never seen it. Also didn't you used to be able to get knife headshots? You use knife in the back to be directly kill either. Give the guy a chance to fear and try and stab back! : P

I want to see knife headshot in CS: GO. It still requires skill. The obsession I noticed about CS 1.6 of Source, that you don’t forever get a knife headshot when you really aim for the head with your crosshair, which I hated. Source should use some computer graphics tricks to make respectable looking stabs. That’s why the knife should go into targets and aim for vitals. It if you aim for the head it should be brought down upon it, swung around into the side of the skull or a parallel slash to the neck.
