Oracle makes cloud-capable office suite

Despite some disagreements about office software provider Oracle will start the IT now a new initiative and makes the SaaS sector, Microsoft and Google competition. With the new Office Suite Oracle Cloud Office does Oracle CEO Larry Ellison against Microsoft's SaaS offering Office 365 and against Google Docs. Is sufficient for operating a Web browser, the programs for word processing, spreadsheets and presentations running on a server. The cloud-enabled suite goes back to the Sun acquisition, the predecessor was called Star Office. Cloud Office has however been re-programmed in Java, enabling customers to link other software via API.
