AVerMedia sells its first multimedia network gateway

AVerMedia has announced the immediate availability of its multimedia gateway connected AVerLife ExtremeVision. This includes the home network through its Gigabit Ethernet port and can accommodate external USB drives (FAT 32/NTFS/EXT 3) on its two USB 2.0 ports on its e-Sata port. According to the wiring diagram provided by AVerMedia, it appears that a third module plugs into your USB port that the gateway connects the wireless AVerLife ExtremeVision has video outputs HDMI, composite and component as well as an optical output to connect an amp.
