Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Disc is unreadable
Hello guys I am having big issue with the disc of this game my disc is unreadable. The disk does not appear within the games during the XMB. It is interpret for regarding 20 seconds, and after that the slot makes a loud noise similar to its charging yet again in support of 1 second and after that silence. I pop back other items, including a CDR and DVD, and they all show and work well within 2-3 seconds. The disc is scratched and UC3 everything seems in order, so what happens?

I am having the similar difficulty I tried the fat PS3 disc my friend and it works. He tried his and mine did not work. However once out of a hundred attempts to essentially read it, before it made the noise ~ 1 sec loading slot. But as soon as you reset the system to see if it still appears, the noise and disappeared another time. Furthermore, it is only this game, we tried everything else works. I'm level 14 and never had this happen before.

I have the same problem, I have my game today, I put on my ps3 (slim model), wait about 20 seconds after the noise removal, but not ejecting, then I have to manually eject and never load. I tried the similar disc in my ps3 and his companions loaded well, I tried additional games (the dark souls of my most recent, and rabies), and mutually run at once devoid of any troubles. What should I do?

Sounds similar to the difficulty I used to have through my old PS2 fat model. The lens possibly will be just require cleaning or it possibly will be a hardware problem considering the software works superior on other PS3 models however not yours.

I had the same problem and I think it was the first to report the problem here, I have a copy of the event early AMC. In my 1st generation slim, all other media (games, movies, BluRay, DVD, and CD) worked except UC3. Not appear in the XMB and clicked (replace?) Noise. Then I tried on my friend's PS3 fat and it did work. Its copy, which worked on it did not work on mine either. But after about 30 minutes without stopping to insert and eject I got lucky and it showed up. Then he went on for 3 days until I got my platinum. Now none of my games work however the whole thing else still does.

The problem began with the disk UC3 and now I think it's the laser gone wrong or maybe some dust got on it. I tried option 3 (restoration) in safe mode and said that my system files are corrupted and fixed, but that does not solve this problem read. I will try to remove the PS3 this weekend (out of warranty) and try to clean the dust and crystalline, then reformat the hard disk.
