Is it necessary to have 3d glasses to play Batman Arkham City in 3D on Xbox 360

Is it necessary to have 3d glasses to play Batman Arkham City in 3D on Xbox 360
I have recently bought Batman Arkham City and I have been enjoying it on my Xbox 360 as well and I have heard that we can see the Batman Arkham City in 3D on Xbox 360 but then I am not very sure that we have to get glasses for the same or there is some sort of setting to get the 3D effect. Is there anyone who has an idea about the same and can help me out as well? Any suggestion for this will be appreciated.

As far as I know you need to have a glass to get the SD effect and you also need to have a 3D compatible TV as well and then only you will be able to get the 3D effect. So you need to have the blue red glasses in order to see it but then I will suggest you to get the a frame inficolour glasses and I have found that there are some good ones on the Ebay and do not get the paper one because they will just last for a week. You can just check them out there is a variety of glasses on ebay and they are cheap as well.

I don’t think that the paper one is that bad it really depend in the way use it. I have got my paper 3d glass when I had went for a movie alst month and after I came to know about the inficolour setting I have been using the same and it really adds a lot of fun and it also make the game more realistic and interesting. I have been using the same since more than a month and it is as it is you can probably keep it in a book and that’s very safe and you get the paper one very cheap as well.

I don’t think that there is a need to have 3D compatible TV because there is a setting in the game itself which can give you the 3D effect on a 2D TV as well and in order to do so just go to the main menu and then go in to the game options and there you will see a 3D so just enter it and then you will find a category of render 3D and now you can just change it to inficolor which will then give you a 3d effect but you will just have to get the inficolour glasses only and not a 3D compatible TV.

I think for the time just getting the paper one will be a better idea and if I really get the 3d experience by changing the setting that has been specified above and by using my 2d tv then I will surely go for the other one but I think that just for the testing purpose the paper one will be a good deal to try out. Anyways thanks to all of you for sharing this information with me you have really cleared my doubts and I really appreciated your help as well.
