Ctrl + F find bar is not working in IE8

Ctrl + F find bar is not working in IE8
I use to work on internet explorer 8 since its release. It is working fine on my computer but since last 2 days Ctrl + F is not working on my IE. Due to this i am not able to do line serch. Could you guys help me out fixing tihs problem or should i reinstall Internet explorer 8 ?

It may be the cause of Core Component oleacc.dll may have got corrupted. But its not a mojor problem. You dont't need to reinstall IE. Just try to re-register this dll file. Open and run elevated command prompt as an administrator. Now type regsvr32 oleacc.dll in the command prompt and press Enter.This will re-register the dll file. Now restat the Internet Explorer and check. Hope it works.

You can try this:-

Go to Tool >Manage Addons > Enable or disbale addons

In the new window that comes up look under the heading, make Enabled

Now click on InlineSearchHandleHotKeys and select Disable

in the area under the list Click OK. Thats it. Not sure but this defenitely works in the Ctrl + F pop up style.

Hey ,, i tried your first tip and it worked. I think dll file was the problem. Now i can use Ctrl +F. Thanks for the solution.
