Why steam always update my Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
HI, i have started playing the game i have mentioned in the title but having very strange problem with it as every single time that I log out from steam and after that come back online, steam updates my Modern Warfare 3 single player, multi-player and MW3 dedicated server and the worst thing starts over here as i must have to wait 10 hours to play the game again. Is there anybody having same problem with the game? Please let me know fixes for the same if there is any. Thanks.

– I think it should be some issue in the game you have installed rather than any other thing, thus i would like to recommend you that you should try to reinstall the game once again to you machine and then try the same thing again.

I was also having the same problem with the game once and after that i came to know that there were some problem with the game files for the steam thus after refreshing them in the machine everything was working perfectly without any glitch. Thus i would like to recommend you the same thing as you should try to get those refresh once, but while doing that make sure you are not removing steam.exe or else you’ll get another problem with the game.

i would like to recommend you that you should follow the procedure i have mentioned as first Exit Steam and rename your “ClientRegistry.blob” to “ClientRegistryold.blob”, and restart Steam.
After that, the file called “ClientRegistry.blob” will be found in your Steam installation directory. In my machine it’s C:/Program Files/Steam/ and i think this is by default.
I have done the same thing if suppose the issue persists, you may have trouble with your local Steam files. Thus you may refresh these files without deleting your game files. Please follow this process to refresh your Steam files:
First Exit Steam and then navigate to your Steam installation directory. That’s again the same mentioned above.
Now you have to remove everything in that directory EXCEPT the following:
steam.exe
steamapps directory (All of Steam's game files are kept here.)
Restart Steam then see what happens again.
