IP Address changes from time to time
Hello,
I need some help, Our company has a warehouse but far from where I'm located (here at our Head Office). The problem is our warehouse there has 15 to 20 computers connected directly thru the Internet Service Provider on a switch. The problem is our system on our accounting dept was always encountering an error because of the changes of IPs. I try to remote some computers to change the setup to static addressing instead of using dynamically. But the problem is the provider changes all of its value, from IP add to DNS. I'm planning to put a router to that warehouse but I don't know if I can be able to configure it remotely.

Re: IP Address changes from time to time
The Internet Protocol (IP) address of a computer on a network is the unique address (at that point in time) that a computer is identified by in a network. Static IP addresses are used when you need to make sure that the same service is available at the same IP address for a long time. Unless manually changed, that IP address is always assigned to the specific server that hosts this site. For more information on the above issue, you need to check out the following link.

How to Change Static Ip Address ?
Hope so it may resolve your issue.
